How do you even begin to describe a country as vast and diverse as Australia? It’s rugged yet refined, adventurous yet relaxed, rural and urban. Both my visits to this splendid country have impressed me, and left me feeling like there’s so much more to come back and see next time. Among my Australia bucket list items: sail to the Whitsunday Islands, snorkel the Great Barrier Reef, photograph Ayer’s Rock in the Outback, visit an Aboriginal village and watch a war dance, see the stoic Twelve Apostles (rock outcroppings on the beach), visit the eucalyptus forests of Tasmania, and explore the coastal town of Perth. It’s such a huge country, that there’s never-ending places to explore! If you want a closer look at this memorable destination, read Caroline & Craig’s travel stories from “down under,” to fully appreciate one of the most exotic and beautiful countries in the world.
